TraceHides was one of the pioneers in the field of leather traceability. Now, thanks to the latest technologies, which have been tested and continually improved in close collaboration with a renowned automotive supplier, TraceHides is targeting an even wider market with the topic of traceability.
Together with shoe manufacturer Meindl and leather factory Heinen, we have created the foundation for the development of the independent, traceable Identity collection, in which the leather used for the shoe can be traced back to the pasture. The end consumer can trace exactly where the cow once grazed that supplied its skin for the leather of the individual product through a code. The raw hides for this come from local slaughter, are exclusively tanned and then go into the production of the manufacturer.
